At Least Five People Killed in Suspected Terror Attack in Jerusalem

InternationalIndiaAfricaAccording to preliminary reports, the suspected terror attack occurred in or near a synagogue in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem.At least five people have been killed in a terror shooting attack in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem, the Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service, has confirmed. Another five sustained injuries during the attack. An MDA update detailed that of those injured, two were in critical condition and one in serious condition. Two others were described as being in moderate and moderate to serious condition.However, it’s believed two of those injured have since died after the Israel Police issued a new report that the death toll stood at seven, with three others injured. The MDA has yet to issue an updated release.Israeli Police stated the suspected 21-year-old gunman was shot and “neutralized” at the scene, adding the individual appeared to have acted alone. Early findings suggest he was a resident of East Jerusalem.”The weapon and vehicle used by the terrorist were apprehended by police forces,” a recent statement issued by the department stated. “Security forces are continuing activity to check for others involved in the attack.”
